American Made is about makers. It's about the processes and techniques that bring ideas to life and transform dreams into realities, raw materials into high quality goods. It's about hard work, passion, and mindfulness of what it means to both create and consume.
If you spend more than a few seconds on Wilson & Willy's gorgeous website (be careful when you click that link... because you will) you can tell that they are all about the makers, that they are dedicated to supporting craftspeople and bringing their beautiful creations to an audience that will appreciate them.
Their shop in Minneapolis features a variety of carefully curated goods from an impressive range of categories. Home decor, bath & body, textiles, men's & women's apparel & accessories - there is something for everyone... and they are bringing their collection to Fargo on April 18th for Northern Folk.
Who are you & what do you do?
Wilson & Willy’s is focused on thoughtfully made products for men, women, and the home. Our mission is to find and share amazing products that you are proud to have in your life, to tell the story of the manufacturer, and to explain each product from concept to creation.
What does American Made mean to you?
We believe that in order to progress as a manufacturing community, we should innovate, collaborate, and share ideas and expertise. We also believe that as consumers, we should do our best to seek out and support these efforts, while having some fun along the way.
To encourage this, we’ve collaborated with makers and manufacturers to produce unique, substance-driven products and started to build a cohesive environment for manufactures to live and customers to explore.
Who do you make your products for?
For those who are curious, those who are thoughtful, those who appreciate origin and substance, and who seek to support the creative efforts of those around them.
Where can folks find your products?
Our website (wilsonandwillys.com) and our brick and mortar shop in Minneapolis' North Loop Neighborhood (211 Washington Ave N Mpls, Minn. 55401).
