Northern Folk Vendor Spotlight: Drekker Brewing Company
April 9, 2015
Sure, loving craft beer has occasionally been dogged on and categorized as a purely pretentious predilection... but when push comes to shove craft beers just taste better than your run-of-the-mill brews. Independently brewed beers are superior for the same reasons that other American Made goods are so amazing-they're crafted with great care, an attention to detail, and dedication to quality.
"We started as many breweries do; just a couple of friends brewing in a garage who loved great beer, had a crazy dream, and worked their asses off to make it come true. We won’t bore you with some long, meandering story about how we all met, or how the stars aligned for the brewery to come together. If you want to know the whole story, we’ll bore you with it in the taproom or just wait for the Lifetime movie to come out. Really, we’re just four regular guys who are serious about beer and not much else."
Who are you & what do you do?
Drekker Brewing Company - we’re a craft brewery in downtown fargo.
What does American Made mean to you?
We take "American Made" very seriously. Our brewing system was built in Ridgway, Colorado, and our tanks were made in Portland, Oregon. Most of the grain we use to brew our beer was grown in North Dakota and Iowa. To us, when we buy something that is “American Made” we believe that it was designed and crafted with the same passion and expectation of quality we have when we brew our beer.
Who do you make your products for?
We make beer for people who enjoy and appreciate craft beer.
Where can folks find your products?
We serve our own beer in our taproom at 630 1st Ave N, in Fargo. Also at Würst Bier Hall, Toasted Frog, Boiler Room, Spitfire, and most JL Beers locations.
